Hi everyone! As you can probably tell from the banner above, Pop! Goes The Reader will be going on hiatus from April 10th-April 27th. My mom and I will be traveling to Atlanta to do a little sight-seeing and – best of all – attend Becky Albertalli’s book launch at Little Shop Of Stories on April 11th! As you might imagine I am very, very, very excited and hope to return from my trip fresh, inspired and ready to continue to share my love of books with you all. Thank you so much for your continued feedback and support. It means more to me than I’ll ever be able to adequately express.
As a quick, additional note: Due to time constraints, the final post in the Simon vs. The Week-Long Celebration series, my book review, will be shared upon my return.
Do you live in Atlanta? Are there any destinations or restaurants I absolutely should not miss? Will I see you at Becky’s book launch on the 11th? Let me know in the comments – I would love to hear from you!

Aww have so much fun in Atlanta!! I’ve only been there once but the key lime pie I tried there was to die for! I also suggest having a drink in the spinning bar at the Westin! It’s the highest point in Atlanta and it rotates slowly allowing you to see the entire skyline from every angle! It’s gorgeous!

if you get a chance to visit The World of Coke, I wouldn’t miss it! You learn how Coke was first created, plus you get to taste soft drinks from all over the world at the end of the tour!
