The Writing’s On The Wall: Cool Yule (Part 1)

Cool Yule: Stocking Stuffers is a special seasonal feature on Pop! Goes The Reader in which I put a twist on some of my regular features and share a number of different holiday-themed posts including desktop wallpapers, recipes and much, much more!

I’m back! I’m back! I’m back! As much-needed and appreciated as my month-long hiatus in November was, I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I am to return to blogging again. The time off allowed me a lot of time to plan some very exciting events and posts that I’ll be sharing throughout December, not the least of which is Cool Yule: Stocking Stuffers in which I put a seasonal spin on some of my regular features. The most prominent of these will be concerning The Writing’s On The Wall. While I ordinarily create wallpapers based on books I adore, this month I’ll be using the season as my inspiration and sharing a number of Christmas and holiday-inspired wallpapers to make your desktop a little bit more festive. And, when I discovered Marish‘s Vintage Hipster Christmas Animals, I knew exactly where I wanted to begin. Because ‘Tis The Season. Or whatever. (Their words, not mine. I’m told these adorable creatures only enjoy the season ironically.)

I would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to Arti Masa, Ghostly Pixels, Marish, The Pen & Brush and SS Garden, whose clipart and/or fonts I purchased, edited and used in the creation of this wallpaper!

What book would you like to see made into a desktop wallpaper? Let me know in the comments – I would love to hear from you!
