The Literary Shopaholic: I Got A Rock

The Literary Shopaholic is a sporadic feature on Pop! Goes The Reader in which I highlight some of my favourite literary-themed items. From bookmarks to bookends, purses to prints and everything in between, I’ve selected a few things that will be at the very top of my shopping list this season!

Vampires, werewolves and zombies – Oh my! I love the holidays. Thanksgiving. Halloween. Christmas. New Year’s Day. Basically, if I can commemorate the occassion with cake, I’m a happy camper. It should therefore come as little surprise that I quickly decided I wanted to honour the upcoming season of ghosts, goblins and ghoulies in some special way. While I might be a little too old for trick-or-treating – at least, that’s what my neighbour informed me before slamming the door in my face. The nerve of some people! – you’re never too old for a stylish, sensible, seasonal tote bag. From Nosferatu to Frankenstein, ouija boards to witches, today I’ve compiled a list of forty-two tote-ally awesome Halloween totes that would make even the Great Pumpkin proud.

Hi! I’m Jen! I’m a thirty-something introvert who loves nothing more than the cozy comfort of home and snuggling my two rescue cats, Pepper and Pancakes. I also enjoy running, jigsaw puzzles, baking and everything Disney. Few things bring me more joy than helping a reader find the right book for them!
