This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Top Ten Books That Remain On My Shelf (Unread) From Before I Began Blogging.
Much like the post on the Top Ten Series and/or Duologies I Started And Never Finished I shared a couple of weeks ago, I’m more than a little ashamed to reveal my answers to today’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt, the Top Ten Books That Remain On My Shelf (Unread) From Before I Began Blogging. The most embarrassing part? I have no adequate explanation as to why I purchased and then never read any of the books below. They’re all stories I’ve heard wonderful things about, have had recommended to me numerous times, and many are even written by authors whose work I’ve enjoyed before! The unfortunate truth is that since I began blogging and started regularly receiving books – both solicited and otherwise – in the mail for review, I’ve felt I’ve had less time to highlight older titles or books from my own personal collection. That said, I’ve been making a concerted effort to correct this in the last couple of weeks, and desperately want to make the time to read the ten books below very soon. Wish me luck!

Wow a lot of my faves are on your list this week!!! I totally LOVED Just Listen, The Sky is Everywhere, and Anna. The Book of Broken Hearts and Statistical Prob are pretty good as well. I hope you do get around to reading some of these. Also I need to read OCD Love Story. Thanks for reminding me 🙂

I love love LOVE Second Chance Summer! I’ve also read Anna and the French Kiss & The Book of Broken Hearts, and really liked both!
JEN!!!!!! Please, I beg of you,do not go another month or two without reading Eleanore & Park, The Sky Is Everywhere and OCD Love Story.
Anna is sweet when you need a happy romance. Elanor and Park – that is just a great book! I loved it.
I’ve read 7 out of 10 and loved every one of them. I am envious of you getting to experience any of these books for the first time. You are in for some fantastic reading!
This is a great list. My suggestion is to start w/ Eleanor & Park!

Anna and the French Kiss is amazing. You have to read it this fall! It’s one of my favorite books. Perkins writes yA contemporary really well. #2-5 are on my TBR as well.

Great Top Ten! You have a handful of my favorites on your list! You should DEFIANTLY read Second Chance Summer, OCD Love Story, The Sky Is Everywhere, Just Listen, Anna and The French Kiss, and The Sky Is Everywhere. I gave each of them 4 to 5 stars! You HAVE to read Anna & The French Kiss and Eleanor & Park! They’re a couple of my faves!! They are both wonderful.
And I read The Reece Malcolm List earlier this year and I really enjoyed it too!

The sky is everywhere is an amazing book. I remember reading it before I had a blog. Love it so much. Anna and the french kiss, and Elenor & park is also favorite of mine. Love your design and the art work on your blog. Amazing 🙂
I haven’t read or heard of any of these! The broken heart sounds sad though – specially because I’ suffering from that right now myself. Let us know how you get on with them!
I’ve only read 2 of the books on your list above (Anna and the French Kiss and The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight). I really enjoyed both of them! It’s been awhile since they were published but you should definitely still keep them on your tbr and hopefully you’ll get around to reading them soon!
The only one I’ve read from your list in The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight and I really enjoyed that one. Most of Jennifer E. Smith books are good.
