Hi everyone! As those of you who follow me on Twitter may already know, I’m leaving on a trip to Walt Disney World in Florida today! (!!!) In honour of my parent’s 31st wedding anniversary and my 28th birthday, we’ve decided to take a trip to the Happiest Place On Earth, and I couldn’t be more thrilled or grateful to have this opportunity to celebrate with the two people I love most in this world.
As a result of this much-needed holiday, Pop! Goes The Reader will be on a coinciding hiatus from April 14-May 9. I will try my best to check in while I’m away, but I kindly ask for your patience in regard to correspondence like comments, tweets, emails, etc. I promise I’ll get back to you as soon as I possibly can, but I’m also really looking forward to spending the next few weeks doing something that’s just for me.
That said, I have every intention of documenting as much of my trip as I can, and I would love it if you followed along with me on Twitter and Instagram where I’ll be sharing pictures and updates. I plan to tag my tweets with #JenDoesDisney and would love it if I could share this experience with all of you.

Oh my goodness, I’m so excited for you! I went to Disney when I was nine years old and it remains one of my favorite memories. I’ve always wanted to go back to experience it as a grown-up. That sounds like the best joint-birthday-anniversary celebration ever. I hope it’s a wonderful time for your family! And happy early birthday! xx
